Delete your account & data
For the FoodieMama app
You can delete your FoodieMama account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the FoodieMama app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and associated data are removed immediately, and deletion fully completes within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email hello@foodiemama.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify your identity, complete the deletion, and confirm — within 30 days of your request.
What gets deleted
- Your saved places (bookmarks).
- Your user profile record, including your name, email, phone number, and any optional profile details.
- Your authentication account (email/password, Apple, or Google sign-in link).
- User-generated content tied to your account, including reviews, comments, reservation inquiries, and AI concierge chat history.
Timeline & retention
Deletion is processed promptly and completes within 30 days. After that, your personal data is removed from our systems. We may retain a limited amount of information for a longer period only where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes; such data is then deleted on our normal backup expiry cycle.
